Mr. Torbert’s professional background includes serving as a faculty
member at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. This
experience helped him to cultivate his interpersonal skills and
facilitate his ability to provide managerial strategies. He also
understands senior leadership and its correlation to organizational
effectiveness. In concert, Shelton combines his leadership insights,
life experiences, and more than 20 years of global experience, to
the consulting process. These unique attributes enable him to
provide leaders and executive officers with human capital management
expertise to achieve desired goals and outcomes.
Mr. Torbert earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in History and Government
from Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri and holds a Masters in
Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University.
Also, he is a certified mediator through the Atlanta Justice Center
and a certified group facilitator. He has taken numerous leadership
development classes to include 4 Roles of Leadership and How Adults
Learn. He is active in numerous community and professional
associations. During the 2005 year, he was an officer in
Toastmasters International.
